Why patients choose Dr. Gutman

He is a high-volume prolapse surgeon whose research output — more than 80 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters — has shaped how the field approaches vaginal mesh, native-tissue repair, and robotic sacrocolpopexy. Patients who have had a previous repair fail, or who were told their anatomy was too complex, are a large part of his referral base.

Clinical focus

Pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, overactive bladder, vaginal fistula, mesh complications and revision surgery, and robot-assisted reconstructive pelvic surgery.
