William Weigold, MD

Dr. William Weigold is a board-certified cardiologist at Adventist HealthCare Cardiac Associates in Silver Spring, MD, board certified in both cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular CT. He is one of the region’s foremost experts in cardiac CT imaging, a non-invasive way to evaluate the heart’s arteries and structure.

Background and training

Dr. Weigold earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Lakeside Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Northwestern University. He then completed a cardiovascular disease fellowship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
